Terms & Conditions

It is mutually agreed that the following terms and conditions form an integral part of this contract between Lisa Jayne Creative and {{}} (hereinafter known as the client). No variation or modification shall be effective unless accepted by Lisa Jayne Creative in writing.

Lisa Jayne Creative is acting as an Independent Contractor. Lisa Jayne Creative is not undertaking any artwork as any employee of the Client, nor entering into a joint venture of partnership with the Client. Lisa Jayne Creative reserves the right to seek advice or assistance when required.



All orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure your booking. Artwork will not be released prior to the full balance being paid. Final payment is due prior to printing. Lisa Jayne Creative currently accepts BACs, cheques, PayPal and credit cards.



Lisa Jayne Creative reserves the right to change prices without notice. Pricing changes may be affected by an increase or decrease in supplier, service and/or production costs. Quotes and estimates are valid for 30 days.


Time Scales and deadlines

Any timings given are for estimation purposes only unless the Client sets a required deadline. Lisa Jayne Creative will always keep the Client up to date on timings via the client area. Lisa Jayne Creative will strive to work within this timeline, but it is important for the client to also co-operate in a timely manner. Lisa Jayne Creative will not be responsible for not meeting deadlines due to delayed client action or response. Lisa Jayne Creative cannot be held responsible for any delays if deadlines are not mentioned in writing prior to booking. Any delay in the completion of the design due to unforeseen illness, or events out Lisa Jayne Creative’s control will mean the project may be delayed, you will be notified if this is the case.

Rush Orders Orders may be considered RUSH if they are needed within a 3 week turnaround. Rush orders are accepted depending on availability and the requirements of the project. Rush orders will add a charge of 15% to your order total.


Amendments and changes

The Client must assume that all additions, alterations, changes in content, layout or process changes requested by the client, will alter the time and cost. The Client will be notified in advance before undertaking any work of any additional costs. Any changes made by Lisa Jayne Creative will be charged at the current hourly rate.



The client must assume that all expenses of, including but not limited to, stock imagery, fonts, digital items, printing and materials to be used within any design work created by Lisa Jayne Creative on behalf of the Client will be added to the final bill and fall on the responsibility of the Client for payment. Where any expenses are due to arise, Lisa Jayne Creative will provide the client with a quote and will require written confirmation of acceptance before making any additional expenses.


Digital Stock, Copy & Photography

Costs of any digital stock, fonts, copywriting and/or photography is not included unless otherwise stated. The client is responsible for supplying all content and imagery prior to the project commencing. Should the Client request Lisa Jayne Creative to source digital stock, fonts and/or photography on their behalf, a sourcing fee of £25 per hour will be charged along with the full cost of the item(s). Lisa Jayne Creative will hold the licence for any digital stock, fonts or photograph purchased on behalf of the client.


Returns and Cancellation

If there is a need to cancel your order, please contact Lisa Jayne Creative immediately. If your final approval has not been received and your project has not gone into production, you are responsible for your deposit and any materials that have been purchased. If your project has gone into the production process you are responsible for the entire amount as stated. Every effort is made to assure your satisfaction. If there is an error on the part of Lisa Jayne Creative, we will do our best to correct the problem. Ownership of all copyrights and the original artwork shall be retained by the Lisa Jayne Creative. Any usage of the artwork created by Lisa Jayne Creative prior to the project being cancelled will result in appropriate legal action. In the unlikely event of Lisa Jayne Creative not being able to complete the design due to unforeseen illness, or events out of control, then another professional and reputable designer will undertake the artwork. Lisa Jayne Creative reserves the right to cancel the artwork at any given time without prior notice.


Design Property and Copyright

All designs and concepts are property of Lisa Jayne Creative. Lisa Jayne Creative retains all rights to use the preliminary and completed designs for the purpose of display or for other clients, upon request. Upon full payment of all fees invoiced in relation to the client’s project, the copyright and reproduction rights of the final design(s) will only be transferred from Lisa Jayne Creative to the client if prior agreed and paid for. Any design(s) not chosen by the Client shall remain the property of Lisa Jayne Creative. Artwork maybe used in the Lisa Jayne Creative’s advertising material, magazines, website, blog or social media pages and consent is hereby given by the client. The client is fully responsible for ensuring they have obtained full copyright or permissions to use any content in the artwork not provided by Lisa Jayne Creative. This includes all photography, copy and content, design elements and branding of other companies. Lisa Jayne Creative can not be held responsible for any legal action taken against the Client for unlawful use of any content within their design.



It is important to Lisa Jayne Creative that every piece of design work we create is our own. Sending inspiration from Pinterest, etc. to give an idea of your style is great! But please, don’t send Lisa Jayne Creative someone else’s design and ask us to create a copy for you, but with your wording and colors.



All proofreading is the client’s responsibility. The client should thoroughly proofread all information they intend to include in their design prior to sending to Lisa Jayne Creative to incorporate. A further proofread should be done once the client has received the design. Any mistakes noticed after completion are not Lisa Jayne Creative’s responsibility. Any amendments will be charged at the current hourly rate. All proofs will be provided in digital form.



Credit is not given for printing through Lisa Jayne Creative. All printing fees must be paid prior to any design being released for printing. Colours of printed versions of your artwork may vary to that displayed on your screen and the overall finish may differ to that of artwork you have printed elsewhere. Lisa Jayne Creative cannot be held responsible for any variations in colour or quality. Any mistakes found after the artwork has been printed are the client’s responsibility and all re-printing charges will be the responsibility of the client. For any artwork the client arranges printing, Lisa Jayne Creative can not be held responsible for any errors, colour matching, finishing or quality of the final printed product. i.e. Lisa Jayne Creative is not able to offer advice on printer issues.



Lisa Jayne Creative shall not disclose any confidential information concerning the design or project to any third party without prior permission.



Any complaints should be raised by the client with Lisa Jayne Creative, in writing, within 28 days of first becoming aware of the matter to be complained of and in any event within 28 days of receipt of the artwork.



The client agrees that it shall not hold Lisa Jayne Creative or her agents or employees liable for any incidental or consequential damages that arise from Lisa Jayne Creative’s failure to perform any aspect of the project in a timely manner, regardless of whether such failure was caused intentional or negligent acts or omissions of Lisa Jayne Creative or Client, any client representatives or employees, or a third parties.
